New yarn

Today my fresh ordered yarn already arrived. Beautiful, shiny and soft Garnstudio Alpaca Baby Silk (sport weight) in ligh-greyinsh-puple and soft and heavy Garnstudio Drops Lima  (Alpaca/Wool, dk weight) in a pretty purple. Both yarns are new for me and I can´t wait to try them out.

...no need to decide now....

Some minutes ago the owner of the yarn shop called me on my cell phone and apologized that the yarn I´ve ordered is not available in this amount! Uhhhh...

I could get the same yarn in an other colour but I don´t think I will take it. Maybe it is better I´ll knit my warm dream cardigan later this year so I´ll have more motivation to finish it until next fall/winter. I´ll have this weekend to think it over.

Which cardigan to knit?

One of my favourite online yarn stores - Drops Garnstudio - has a supersale of -30% on their new yarn qualities Andes and BabyAlpaca Silk. So although I´m on a yarn diet, I had to order yarn immediatly. I want to knit myself a warm cardigan in a heavy weight yarn, because I want to finish it in this life. My attention span is not very large and I get bored very fast, but I think with needles about 7-9 mm it will be finished before summer.

Now I´m thinking about which cardigan to knit. Sedum by Jane Richmond is nice, so is Friida by Eveli Kaur or this cardigan by Suvi Simola (villapeikko on Ravelry). Maybe I´m making the pattern up as I knit and make something between Sedum and Friida.
