Buttercup - finally!

It took me quite some time to finish the Buttercup! I loved this sweater the first time I´ve seen it, but it wasn´t always a smooth knitting for me. I don´t know why, but Buttercup and me - we had our differences. But now we are happy together!

Pattern: Buttercup by Heidi Kirrmaier
Yarn : Garnstudio Drop Alpaca in colour 7139 (4,5 balls used)
Needles: 3.5mm

The sweater is nice and quite flattering I think. The Alpaca yarn is unbeleavable warm and for me a bit to itchy to wear next to skin. It feels soft on the hand while knitting and has a nice sheen.

Baby Cobble

...is finished and I really like it. It came out the way I wanted which really makes me happy. Still a bit warm these days but modeled shots will come soon.

Just enough ruffles

...for my aunt in a nice rusty orange. It´s me modeling it, but I´ve already gifted it to my aunt and she absolutly loves it. That makes a knitters heart jump.

Pattern: Just enough ruffles from Laura Chau
Yarn: 3 x 50g Lana Grossa Millefine (299 m)
Needles: 5.5mm

Baby Cobblestone

...from Rowanspun dk I have in my stash I´ve started to knit a Cobblestone sweater for Felix. The yarn is thinner and the kid is a baby so I had some maths to do, but I think it is coming out nice so far.

Now I am playing around with the yoke to make it wearable for a baby. As always ravelry is a great place for inspiration and information!

This sweater is going to be very light because until now I have used only about 70 g yarn.

Toys

These toys are not totally new, but knitted in September for my kids. The mice are "Mousie" from Ysolda and the elephant is "Elijah" from Ysolda. They are really easy to knit as Ysoldas pattern are always clear and brilliant. And my kids love them. Now only one mouse is missing and they all got a toy ;)

After quite a long summer blogging break I´m back. I am going to try to post more regulary about my crafty life.

Mit meinem ersten "Wollmeisenshopping" habe ich aufgehört und mit dem nächsten gehts gleich weiter.

I´ve stopped blogging after my first Wollmeisenshopping and so I start now with the next Wollmeisen buying.
